Minnie Mouse Party!

My oldest daughter turned 3 over the weekend and we had a Minnie Mouse party for her to celebrate. We had Minnie cupcakes, Minnie rice crispie treats on a stick and so much more!
These are the Minnie Rice Crispie Treats. They are made from rice crispie treats, obviously, then cut with round fondant cutters to make the shapes for the head and ears. Then I took tooth picks and stuck the ears on and let them harden for a bit before I inserted thier sticks and smothered them in chocolate.  I then wrapped them in celophane and tied it shut with a ribbon.
The cupcakes were made by just inserting two mini oreos as ears and I sprinkled some pearl sprinkles on top.

For breakfast the birthday girl had a minnie pancake. I died it pink with frosting dye and put a little pink bow on top.

For decoration I made a few martha stewart pom poms and hung them above the snack table.

I made her banner using Cricut Craft Room. Welded circles together to make a minnie head and used Create a Critter for the bows. The letters are from Sophisticated. I also just took clothes pins and colored them with stamp and write pens and hot clued a button on top and used them to hold the letters on. The paper is from the black currant stack.

We also had Minnie and Mickey ears for everyone to wear. These were made from foam cut into circles and hot glued onto head bands I got at the dollar store. the bows are also cut from create a critter. This is me and my daughter Naven.

And finally, the birthday girl herself!

Sympathy Card

My little sister's best friend had her grandma pass the other day : (
I made this sympathy card for her and her family.
I used alcohol inks for the back ground and a stampin up set for the images.
Alcohol inks used: Watermellon and Silver mixative

Sorry the picture isn't better.  The glossy paper gave quite a glare!

Birthday Card

I made this birthday card for a good friends daughter who is turning 7.  I stumbbled across how to make it on youtube, I forget what kind of card it is! I used Potpurri for the hat, Create a Critter for the bear, balloon, and present, and Plantin Schoolbook for the number 7.

Valentines Card

I made this tri fold shutter card for my husband.  It was a lot of fun to put together! The birds are from the wild card cartridge, the hearts are from last years Valentine cartridge and the scalloped circle is from mini monograms.

I also decorated this cute mail box from the Target dollar spot.  The Zebra is from create a critter cartridge.

Thanks for looking!

My Pink Stamper Challenge

I made this card for my girlfriends birthday.  She loves pink! I used Create a critter cartridge for the hippo, and BOBUNNY valentine paper for the background.  Cute & simple!
